18BBY: Cassiel is 5 en verblijft bij haar meester Krellus Duroth op Bespin.
Zij werkt er in de motor pool en leert hoe ze de verschillende voertuigen moet onderhouden.
14BBY: Cassiel vergezelt haar meester op een reis naar Naboo.  Op de terugweg wordt het schip overvallen door piraten die Cassiel meenemen naar hun schuilplaats op Jelucan.  Cassiel zal de volgende jaren bij de piraten op Jelucan verblijven en uiteindelijk tot de crew gaan behoren.
5BBY: Imperial troepen vallen de schuilplaats aan, maar Cassiel weet te ontsnappen.  Smokkelaars kunnen haar van de planeet halen en brengen haar naar Lothal waar ze lid wordt van de Rebel Alliance.
